Day 1, 15th September 2021 - Hybrid:
The first day, hosted by AMPI, will be held at UoM campus, will adopt a hybrid physical-virtual format with the participation of a number of distinguished keynote speakers form industry and academia as well as a networking event.
Day 1 Keynotes include: Steve Brambley (Chief Executive of GAMBICA), Tony Bannan (President of AMPI), Paul Clarke (advisor to government on industry & start-ups), Philippa Glover (CNC Robotics), Richard Jones (Chair in Materials Physics & innovation Policy, University of Manchester), Blake Kendrick (Renishaw), Maarten Steinbuch (Eindhoven University of Technology), Andrew Schofield (BAE Systems), Sam Turner (HVMC) and Harkaitz Urreta (IDEKO)
The physical aspect of the event will observe any COVID-related measure in place at the time of the conference in accordance with UK government law and guidance.
Day 2 and 3, 16th/17th September 2021 - Virtual:
Days 2 and 3 will consist of a number of keynotes as well as over 50 presentations in parallel sessions from academicians and R&D industrialists. The list of keynotes in Days 2 & 3 include: Yusuf Altintas (University of British Columbia), Sung-Hoon Ahn (Seoul National University), Amaresh Chakrabarti (Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore), Eric MacDonald (University of Texas at El Paso), Seeram Ramakrishna (National University of Singapore), and Lihui Wang (KTH Royal Institute of Technology)
